Open access journal in Microbiology and Immunology
Open access journal in microbiology and immunology promotes research of bacteria, virus, and parasites and how the human immune system respond to it.
Current Bioscience is an open access journal
Current Bioscience is an open access journal that publish articles mainly in the field of microbiology and immunology and other close related fields like pathology and biochemistry, both basic and clinical studies.
Peer reviewed system
Current Bioscience uses a single-blind peer-reviewed system that consists in that the reviewers know the identity of authors, but authors don’t know the identity of reviewers. At Current Bioscience, each article is reviewed by at least two reviewers. To facilitate this process, the author have to suggest at least three potential reviewers. The editor will contact the suggessted reviewer to ask if they are willing to reviewe the manuscript in the first place. If they are not willing to review the manuscript, the editor will design a reviewer in his list of reviewers of Current Bioscience.
Field of science of this open accces journal
Current Bioscience publishes articles in different fields of bioscience research. However, in this first phase of the life of the journal we will concentrate us in microbiology and immunology, and probably close related fields like pathology and biochemistry. However, the goals is to cover field that human and animal health, for example study of environmental factors if that factors affect the human and animal health.
